Our mission is and has always been to create the image you envision.

Whether you’re one person creating a story or a family of two, four or eight with two dogs, three cats and a goat, portraiture by Countryside has got you covered. You’ll have the option of being photographed at our Madison studio or maybe you'd prefer another location, then we'll bring the studio to you.

The Experience

Before your session
Pick a package & we’ll plan your session together— identifying backdrops, settings & styles that match your personality and vision.

During your session
We will coach you through a number of poses & facial expressions. We’ll collaborate on ideas to get a wide variety of images to choose from.

After your session
You’ll get a gallery of unedited proofs to look through and select the edits for your package. We’ll retouch those images and finalize your order. The process takes about two weeks.

Family and children portraits

At Countryside Studios we have over 30 years experience taking Family Portraits.  Whether you are a family of two, or twenty (with a dog) we believe that preparation is essential when creating that unforgettable image. During your consultation, we will walk you step by step through the process.  We are smack in the middle of Morris County New Jersey so if you would be more comfortable in your home, a nearby park, or at our studio, we are happy to accommodate any situation.  The first step is to choose the type of portrait session that fits your needs and we’ll help coordinate the rest. Visit our portrait galleries to view your choices, pay close attention to how the clothing works within each photograph. Pets are always a welcome addition to a family portrait.
